Finnair challenges Slush participants to develop Finnair’s digital customer experience

Finnair participates Slush Helsinki event on November 30 – December 1 with a goal to find new innovations through Pitch for future challenges.

“We want to find new ways to develop digital customer and employee experience. Slush is a brilliant event for us find inspiration and meet potential cooperation partners as well as to showcase our own know-how on this area,” says Katri Harra-Salonen, Chief Digital Officer for Finnair.

At Slush Helsinki, Finnair show cases its latest renewals such as Cargo Eye monitoring solution for air cargo. Slush participant can also learn about future of biometric face recognition. Finnair tested face recognition solution developed by Futurice at Helsinki Airport last spring together with the airport operator Finavia.

Since last year, Finnair has partnered with Slush, Europe's leading startup event, to speed up innovation within and advance digitalisation inside the airline. Finnair has also taken part in Slush events in Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo to network with startups in those key markets for the airline.
