MADISON, Wis. – Fiskars is proud to announce that its Summit™ Knives have been named a finalist for Fast Company’s 2018 Innovation by Design Awards, honoring the most innovative and disruptive design solutions for today’s business problems.

This year’s judging panel, which was comprised of the world’s best design minds, selected the finalists from among 2,800 submissions across 16 categories.

Fiskars’ Summit™ Knives feature a new handle design that automatically guides user’s hands to the ideal grip for more efficient and controlled cutting. The blades are made of Japanese-grade stainless steel for long-lasting sharpness and come with a dishwasher-safe blade guard to prevent damage during washing and storage. The knives are available in two sizes of chef knives, two types of utility knives, and one paring knife.

“At our very core, Fiskars loves to create iconic products that make our consumers lives’ easier and more enjoyable,” said Fiskars Americas Vice President of Marketing Jay Gillespie. “The Summit™ Knives are a great example of our commitment to innovative design. We are honored Fast Company feels the same way.”

All finalists are highlighted on fastcompany.com and in the October issue of the print magazine.
