FlexLink is the main sponsor of the Childrens’ golf, an event for raising money to healing environments at the Queen Silvia’s Child Hospital in Gothenburg.

The Childrens’ golf is the largest charity golf event in Sweden and is arranged since 2006 by the charity trust for the Queen Silvia’s Child Hospital (Insamlingsstiftelsen för Drottning Silvias barn- och ungdomssjukhus) with the aim to raise funds for the creation of healing environments for the children. In 2013, the event raised SEK 1.5 million which has now created four new rooms with interactive themes from the world of animals.

The task this year is to create a new environment for the waiting rooms at the x-ray department and we look forward to new and inspiring environment for the children. Monday August 18th is the date for the event and the target is to create a larger net than in 2013.

“The funds raised by the charity trust creates new conditions for the children to feel joy and experience stimuli in sometimes tough situations of disease. The idea to create healing and inspiring environments for the children is very much in line with the values we apply within the company and is something we are happy to support. The charity trust behind the event is doing a fantastic job and the results mean a lot for the children” comments Klas Ålander, Communications Manager at FlexLink.
