Stockholm, March 8, 2013 – flightright (www.flightright.de ), the German consumer portal for air passenger rights to compensation for flight delays, cancelled flights and denied boarding, is expanding internationally. flightright Northwest AB www.flightright.no) has now launched in Norway.
Under European Law, (EC) Regulation 261/2004, air passengers are entitled to compensation of up to 600 euro in the event that their flight is delayed, cancelled or boarding is denied.
flightright will handle air passengers claims without any financial risks involved. flightright will only charge a fee if airline pays out compensation.
Norway has only 5 million inhabitants but has a surprisingly high number of passengers travelling by air every year. flightright Northwest AB will now be able to help the 27 million norwegian passengers to claim their rights to compensation in case they will suffer from a flight delay for more than 3 hours.
As more than 1% of the flights are delayed or cancelled it s a huge market as most passengers are unaware of their right to compensation.
