Looking for a direct flight from Munich to the heart of London or vice-versa? It's here – with the BA CityFlyer. Effective immediately, the British carrier is providing a nonstop connection between Bavaria’s hub and London City Airport. Passengers can depart daily for the UK capital with an Embraer E190 airliner. The flight takes around two hours. Now, Munich is connected to five London airports.

Employees of BA CityFlyer and Munich Airport celebrated the inaugural flight with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. Passengers were presented with Bavarian gingerbread hearts as a sweet souvenir.
