Canadian Twins Launch YouTube Channel Focused on Quality Content

Identical twins Dahlia and Dia Tequali are actresses living between Hollywood, California and Ontario Canada.  With their sudden rise to YouTube fame, the twins have already written for and collaborated with a number of YouTube channels.  Their videos have reached well over 200,000 views in a matter of days.

With their passion for the film industry, Dahlia and Dia wanted to create unique quality content that they felt YouTube lacked.  With so many channels focused on the number of videos produced rather than quality writing and production, the twins wanted to create an experience on YouTube with the same level of satisfaction as watching a film.  “Why should YouTube be a place where viewers are limited to Vlogs and celebrity gossip?  These channels have their place but there needs to be something more.” said Dahlia and Dia simultaneously.

With a twisted sense of humour giving them a knack for dark comedy, there are already several projects underway including a continuation of their popular “Evil Twins” series.  Additionally they are working on a psychological thriller based on warped jealousy.  “We love writing because it gives us the freedom to create and play the characters we want rather than waiting around for that perfect role.”

Dahlia and Dia can also be seen on the big screen in the film “Opening Night” set to be released in 2014 alongside Broadway stars Anthony Rapp and Cheyenne Jackson.  The girls have just finished starring in the television show “Through the Wormhole” on the Discovery channel hosted by Morgan Freeman.
