PITTSBURGH, PA October 2, 2012 – Gateway Analytical announced today the expansion of their analytical testing and consulting services for orally inhaled and nasal drug products (OINDPs) and a new line of testing services for semi-solid drug products such as gels, ointments and creams. These new offerings will compliment many of the services currently provided by the company.
Experts at Gateway Analytical have specialized training in microscopy, spectroscopy and chemical imaging. This expertise has been leveraged for analysis of OINDPs and semi-solids products to quickly and non-invasively characterize the morphology, particle size, composition and spatial distribution of a drug product; providing critical feedback necessary to ensure a product’s quality and efficacy before it is release to market.
