Getinge appoints Interim CFO

Getinge has appointed Niclas Sjöswärd as Interim Chief Financial Officer until Lars Sandström takes on the position as of January 2018.

As previously communicated Lars Sandström has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will take on the position as CFO Getinge as of January 2018. Lars Sandström replaces Reinhard Mayer who has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. Since there will be a gap between Reinhard Mayer leaving Getinge and Lars Sandström joining, Getinge has appointed Niclas Sjöswärd as Interim CFO during such period.

Niclas Sjöswärd joined Getinge in 2014 and is currently Chief Group Operations Officer and responsible for Indirect Purchasing, Shared Services, Real Estates and Program Management Office. Recently he has also been leading the process for the potential spin-off of the Business Area Patient & Post-Acute Care. Niclas has previously held senior management positions within AB Volvo and has also extensive experience from working in international corporations like PwC, Accenture and SAS.
