Getinge Group, a leading global provider of innovative medical technology, announce today its continuous commitment to Arab Health, the largest healthcare exhibition and educational platform in the Middle East & Africa.

It is anticipated that over 130,000 healthcare professionals from 160 countries will attend Arab Health 2017 (January 30th – February 2nd) and as Platinum Sponsors, this congress provides Getinge with the opportunity to not only share new technologies with customers but more importantly, bring together healthcare professionals and industry to discuss challenges in the region.

Getinge Group will exhibit its Maquet, ArjoHuntleigh and Getinge Infection Control products, presenting Getinge’s total product portfolio which addresses the needs of the healthcare professionals before, during and after a patient’s hospital stay. The booth will show the continuum of care, focusing on Intensive Care Solutions, Central Sterile Service Department (CSSD), Integrated Workflows Solutions (IWS) and Financial Solutions. Getinge will host a live demonstration of a patient suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) management, from admission to discharge. The show will focus on the clinical & psychological pathways for such a critically ill patient and how our Getinge ICU solutions can help care givers, the patient and his family and the hospital management to have a speedy recovery in an enhanced working environment.

The Central Sterile Service Department (CSSD) follows the workflow of the reprocessing of surgical instruments. Here Getinge will focus on our offering for low temperature sterilization including high end solutions from TSO3 together with technologically advanced solutions at an affordable price level from Stericool.

Within the Integrated Workflow Solutions (IWS) there will be a demonstration how the TEGRIS operating room surgical integration solution connects documentation, communication and device control to create an ergonomic and efficient operating room suite. The INSIGHT clinical logistics solution facilitates real time collaboration and transparency about the flow of patients, material and information in operating room, emergency department and intensive care units and patient wards. T-DOC management tools help hospitals comply with best practices and international guidelines for tracking instruments and optimizing and documenting process flows.
