Getinge, a leading global provider of innovative medical technology, announce today its sponsorship and support of two important scientific symposia at ISICEM. Getinge will also launch, for the first time to customers, their new brand identity. This international meeting is one of the largest in its field and it is anticipated that over 5,000 physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals with a focus on critical care or emergency medicine, from over 100 countries worldwide will attend.

As a major sponsor, this symposium provides Getinge with the opportunity to share the full portfolio of intensive care unit (ICU) related products such as SERVO ventilators, Advanced Monitoring, CARDIOHELP system and ICU beds. Live product demonstrations will take place throughout the event and visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the Getinge ICU solutions website.

Every hour of every day, lives are being saved in intensive care units and Getinge play an important role in providing ICU solutions along the patient pathway – from admission to discharge. “Intensive care units are the locations where the most difficult to treat patients are often staying for days or even weeks. For this critical and costly environment, Getinge always focus on developing user-friendly and reliable solutions that help caregivers to achieve tangible and cost-effective patient outcomes. Our expertise in the ICU enables our customers to help further improve the care and the outcome of patients” shared Markus Stirner-Schilling, Vice President Marketing & Academy Europe Middle East & Africa.

ISICEM will also be the first congress for Getinge to launch their new brand identity. In order to better convey the customer offering and further strengthen the leading position, Getinge will approach customers with a total portfolio that accumulates all inherent equities of current brands within one single brand – Getinge. All the group’s products will carry the Getinge logo in the future and some of the current brands within the Getinge Group, such as Maquet, will become product family names under the Getinge master brand.

About Getinge at ISICEM:
