Competition to Name Our Online Shop Solution Has a Winner

The wait is over and the competition to re-name our online shop solution is now closed.  Following weeks of suggestions pouring in, a winner can now be announced.

We ran the competition because we wanted people to come up with a name that suited our bespoke ecommerce shop – a fantastic way for any business to sell their products online.

“Before the competition, our product was called GP Commerce but it wasn’t a name that we really liked,” says James Read, MD of Giant Peach Design. “We needed to do something about it and we thought that an iPod Touch as a prize for the best answer would attract some good competition entries.”

We had lots of great ideas come in but there could only be one winner.

When we reviewed the entries, one stood out and it was so simple we couldn’t believe we didn’t think of it ourselves: Peach Ecommerece.

And the winner was…… Paul Baker from Basingstoke College of Technology.

“I am thrilled that my suggestion was chosen,” he said “and I am looking forward to using my new iPod Touch”.
