NEW RANGE COOKERS FROM BURCO OFFER ‘TITAN’ WARRANTY
Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances (GDPA) – one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of commercial catering equipment – has unveiled a new line-up of Burco Titan range cookers that provide the ultimate in cooking power and energy efficiency. Ideal for busy kitchens in restaurants, cafés, pubs, schools and even outside catering, this latest line-up embodies functionality and reliability; with selected models boasting a three years parts and labour guarantee.
Designed to meet the needs of most kitchens, the Titan cookers are available in six burner and four burner models; the latter carrying a smaller footprint. For improved cooking results, the six burner is also available in a dual fuel option and can switch between a 9.0kW gas or 5.0kW electric oven at the simple twist of a dial.
Incorporating 6.1kW hob burners, these models offer outstanding cooking performance and can even bring a 20 litre stockpot to boil in over a minute faster than their closest competitor. Likewise, the 9.0kW oven power in the six burner range gives rapid heat up times and after ten hours continuous use, has been shown to use 15% less gas than their closest competitor – thereby saving both time and money.
Commenting on this latest launch, Burco’s Brand Manager, Diane Ho, said: “As their name suggests, Titan cookers are the perfect work horses for any busy kitchen. However, whilst they are robust in design and powerful in performance, simplicity and ease of use have not been compromised. Even when it comes to cleaning, the hob can be easily and quickly removed to aid cleaning and maintenance.”
For those kitchens where space is at a premium, a new integrated splashback and plate shelf has been introduced. Available as an optional extra on six burner and dual fuel models, it is sturdy and robust, easy to fit and minimises cleaning. The shelf is also suitable for accommodating the Titan Salamander grill.
To further extend their appeal, both the Titan six burner and dual fuel models offer 2/1 Gastronorm compatibility and the four burner can fit 1/1 Gastronorm trays and pans. Heavy duty lockable castors are featured on all models and a flame failure device also comes as standard.
