Faster and easier, improved user experience and greater flexibility, it’s almost unfair to call BizView 7.0 an update!

Once in a while there will come a product or a service creating a new standard, where historically it is “before or after”. Well, this is our take on BizView 7.0 - the best and most extensive improvement we have ever made.

The dialogue we have with our users is golden and vital for some of the improvements in this update. We also added some cool features and solutions we have had on the drawing board for quite some time. Our focus has been single minded. User experience. Improved user experience. The goal was to make BizView 7.0 more powerful and easier to use than any alternative in the market. With BizView 7.0 we achieved our goals to create an easy-to-use, highly flexible and affordable solution.

Improved user experience

We have focused on a more clean and light design. Less colors and better alignment of controls improves navigation and usability. In addition, we have improved the possible to customize and rebrand BizView with your own company logotype and corporate color, something we know has been on the wish list of our users.

Faster

Things are faster now. You will notice this when you work on slow networks, as well as when you are saving input data (budget/ forecast/form numbers). But the largest performance improvement will be seen when you query data sources with huge amount of data, we are talking real time saving! Another important new feature is built in support for archiving planning data archive tables when data is no longer in use.

Audit trail

With the new cool Audit Trail functionality you have full control of who has changed what number, when. Stop the discussion of who changed what number in the forecasting process! We have also improved other logging of user and system actions to give more information about the usage of BizView.

Other customer requests we listened to

With ‘Favorites’, users can easily create their own list of favorite reports and forms. This is especially important to users working on many of these on a daily basis.

We also added the feature to define task due dates in workflow. For each workflow task it’s now possible to set a due date, and BizView will automatically send e-mail reminders to the person responsible for the task. Also added in this version is the option to export forms and reports to both .xls and .xlsx formats, as well as exporting these with or without formulas.
