KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Feb. 6, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Neoware, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE), a leading supplier of thin client software and devices, today announced integration with WinScribe, the world-leading provider of digital dictation software supporting business requirements for digital dictation, transcription, voice recognition and workflow management.

Neoware and WinScribe have partnered to give users the ability to implement WinScribe's digital dictation solution on Neoware thin client devices. The mobility, flexibility, and reliability of Neoware thin clients complement the digital dictation and workflow management software, providing an effective solution to organisations in a number of significant vertical markets including Legal, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Transcription, Surveying, Insurance and Government sectors.

WinScribe is built on Microsoft architecture to ensure easy integration and maintenance. It will run on Citrix and Windows Terminal Services Edition. Furthermore, the software supports an ever-increasing range of manufacturer-independent devices such as telephones, PDAs, digital handheld portable, handheld microphones, notebooks and VoIP. This flexibility, combined with the security and reliability of it operating on a thin client platform enables organisations to manage their data efficiently without putting sensitive information at risk.

"This partnership means there is now an integrated solution available that is fully compatible with all Neoware thin client devices running the XPe platform," explains Peter Bolton, Neoware's Executive Vice President for EMEA. "We are confident this partnership will be of great benefit to many enterprise-level customers, who may not have been aware that this leading digital dictation software was able to run on our thin client devices."

"The integration of Neoware thin clients with our digital dictation software provides a solution that gives customers a significant competitive advantage," said Philip Vian, Managing Director, WinScribe Europe. "This partnership will enable customers to dramatically improve their workflow management processes, while operating on a secure server-based network, allowing the organisations' desktop and mobile devices to be centrally managed."

The WinScribe and Neoware solution will be demonstrated at the Legal IT 2007, Europe's leading software and services event for the legal profession, 7-8 February 2007, in London. There will be a live demonstration of WinScribe's digital dictation software running on Neoware thin client device using a Citrix server. Visit the WinScribe stand (stand no. 45) at Legal IT 2007 to find out how Neoware's thin client devices and WinScribe's digital dictation software could help your organisation sustain greater levels of productivity, workflow management, flexibility and data security.
