GN ReSound takes ear-to-ear connectivity to a new level – further breakthrough
for 2.4 GHz technology

Copenhagen, 2012-09-24 08:03 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, GN ReSound
launches a new premium hearing aid family, ReSound Verso(TM). The launch is
another technological breakthrough by GN ReSound, building on the unique 2.4
GHz second generation wireless technology. 

ReSound Verso(TM) will be the first hearing aid ever that features both
wireless direct streaming of sound and ear-to-ear connectivity based on 2.4 GHz
technology. ReSound Verso’s ear-to-ear connectivity featuring Binaural
Fusion(TM) takes ear-to-ear connectivity to a new level, providing real
benefits for hearing aid users. 

ReSound Verso(TM) provides a sound experience as it was meant to be, in a
natural way, further building on the Surround Sound by ReSound(TM)technology
with a number of enhanced features. Binaural Fusion(TM) is the foundation of
the new sound experience. With this solution the user enjoys the benefit of
hearing the preferred sound despite background noise without compromising the
awareness of other sounds in the environment. The user is enabled to easily
switch the attention to other signals if desired - just like people with normal
hearing. The solution is therefore unique as it empowers the user to
instinctively react, respond and engage in any conversation in any sound
environment. Binaural Fusion(TM) is automatically enabled by the communication
between the hearing aids, requiring no interaction by the user. 

ReSound Verso(TM) is launched in all major markets in the Top- and Plus price
segments. The family includes 15 different form factors making it the widest
product family on the hearing aid market. The family also includes a new
Invisible-In-the-Canal form factor for ultimate cosmetic appeal.
