LAS VEGAS - December 12, 2013 - Golden Gaming, LLC. (GG) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the slot route operations of Strategic Gaming Management in Northern Nevada and its 870 slot machines.

Golden Route Operations (GRO), a subsidiary of GG, is the largest slot route operator in Nevada.   Once assumed, GRO will operate approximately 8,000 gaming devices in Nevada, across 700 locations. GRO recently acquired control of the former ETT slot route in March 2012, making it the largest slot route in the state.

“The size and resources of this combined entity will allow for the integration and advancement of best-in-class technology and innovative player rewards programs which will give GRO’s route partners an unprecedented menu of options to improve their business," said Blake L. Sartini, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Gaming. “This transaction exemplifies my family’s commitment to the entire Nevada gaming market and belief that the long term growth and vibrant economic trends in the state will resume over time.

We look forward to integrating the outstanding team members of the Strategic Gaming slot route into the Golden Gaming culture and family.” continued Sartini.

Director of Northern Nevada Operations and Nevada native Jimmy Wadhams will continue leadership of operations for GRO. Wadhams has roots in Reno and is a proud graduate of the University of Nevada.

“I look forward to expanding our commitment to northern Nevada and also continuing the GRO long standing reputation as a top employer in the Reno community.” said Wadhams.

Joining Wadhams will be Craig Soper, a former Strategic Gaming team member, as lead Northern Nevada Account Representative. Soper brings 20 years of route experience in the northern Nevada market and will be a valued asset for the GRO team.

GG will assume management of the Strategic Gaming slot route on January 1.
