Graninge: Profit for 2003 up 12 per cent to MSEK 785

The Graninge Group's net sales after power tax amounted to SEK 4.2
billion, an increase of 24 per cent compared with 2002.

Profit before tax was up by 12 per cent over the previous year and

from Stockholm Stock Exchange

The Board of Graninge AB (publ) today requested in a letter to
Stockholmsbörsen AB that the company be delisted from the stock
exchange's O list.

Graninge has been on the O list since 1992. The reason for the company's
delisting request is that Sydkraft now controls 97.5 per cent of the
shares in Graninge.

For many years the Graninge Group has enjoyed favourable development.
The Board has no reason to believe that this will not continue,
particularly considering that the Group's operations are to a
significant extent based on renewable energy in the form of hydropower.

Interim report for January-September 2003

* Net sales for the first nine months of the year amounted to
MSEK 2,820, up 24 per cent over the corresponding period of last year.

shareholders in Graninge have been called to attend an extraordinary
general meeting in Stockholm at 9.00 a.m. on 20 November.

EdF representatives to leave board of Graninge

Due to the sale of Electricité de France's (EdF) shareholding in
Graninge to Sydkraft, the French directors are to leave the board of
Graninge with immediate effect.

The directors in question are regular members Robert Diethrich and
Philippe Roblique and deputy member Marc Regnard.

Interim report for January-June 2003

· Income was up by 30 per cent, mainly as a result of high

Graninge owns 10 per cent of Elverket Vallentuna AB

The Graninge Group has acquired shares corresponding to 10 per cent of
the share capital and votes in Elverket Vallentuna AB, which is quoted
on the AktieTorget Stock Exchange. The shares have been acquired by
Plaudite AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of Graninge AB.
