GSF Birmingham complete retail upgrade

The new retail store and counter at GSF Car Parts’ Birmingham head office is now open to the public, providing motorists locally with improved access to the company’s extensive range of trade-level quality parts and consumables.

Having taken four weeks to complete, the upgrade of the Birmingham store was necessitated by ever-growing queues, sometimes spilling out of the front doors. The new store area is more than twice the size, enabling staff to provide even better – and speedier – service to customers.

With TV and light refreshments available, the shop area provides an opportunity for visitors to peruse the growing Sealey and Milwaukee tool ranges in comfort, with space to house the ever-increasing range of consumables.

Amanda O’Reilly Head of Marketing at GSF said: “The new Birmingham store gives us far more room to showcase new products and the team can handle customer enquiries far more efficiently.

The reorganisation behind the ‘shop front’ has significantly speeded up order processing times too and customers have responded enthusiastically.”

GSF Car Parts say a ‘virtual store’ of fast moving stock is now held in racking close to the counter, dramatically reducing pick times and the resulting wait for customers.

Car parts and accessories for all makes and models can be ordered online at www.gsfcarparts.com for Click & Collect or home delivery, discussed in-store with friendly knowledgeable staff at any of GSF’s national network of store.
