In March, the fourth Haglöfs Arctic Weekend takes place at the new location in Riksgränsen, in the far north of Sweden. There you will have the chance to take part in a full programme of winter activities in an inspiring environment.

During 14–17 March 2013 Haglöfs welcomes you together with Gore, Naturkompaniet and Riksgränsen to the fourth consecutive Haglöfs Arctic Weekend – a weekend in Riksgränsen filled with activities, lectures, workshops and inspiration – all with a focus on snow.

New for this year, the event is moving to Riksgränsen, and is held one month later than previous years – something that the organisers believe will mean milder weather, better snow and even better conditions for a successful event.

“The aim of Haglöfs Arctic Weekend is for us to inspire more people to discover how much fun can be had during the winter considering the fantastic range of winter activities that Sweden has to offer,” said Carl Hård af Segerstad, Swedish marketing manager at Haglöfs.

Haglöfs Arctic Weekend offers such activities as ski touring, avalanche courses and ABS tests, steep skiing, cliff jumping, ice climbing, northern lights safari on snow shoes, igloo building with overnight stays and snowkiting. All activities are carried out together with experienced outdoor names, including Ola Skinnarmo, Mikael Amlert, Anders Bergwall, Ulrika Asp, Susanne Palm, Per Spett, Per Jonsson, Andreas Fransson, Olof Larsson, Lotten Rapp and Johanna Tiensuu-Stålnacke.
