Haglöfs wins prestigious awards for the third year in a row

Haglöfs has won an Ispo Gold Winner Award for a product from its new Outdoor Lifestyle concept 19FOURTEEN, and an Ispo Winner Award for its marketing campaign Monochrome by Haglöfs. This is the third year in a row that Haglöfs is awarded the prestigious prize. The awards will be officially presented during ISPO Munich – the leading international trade show for the sports and outdoor industry to be held January 26-29th this year.

19FOURTEEN is Haglöfs’ new Outdoor Lifestyle concept that will be introduced in the Fall/Winter of 2014. The concept consists of a collection of outerwear, footwear, backpacks and bags that are intended to function in the landscape between nature and the urban environment and that unite a pure, natural surface with an inside filled with technical functions.

One of the highlights in the 19FOURTEEN concept is Lima Jacket which now has been awarded an ISPO Gold Winner Award. The hooded Lima Jacket is a heavy duty jacket with a combination of clean design, utility and technology. It incorporates 3-layer Gore-Tex® for full wind- and waterproofing and offers many of Haglöfs’ classic constructions.

“As part of the 19FOURTEEN concept, we have developed products for everyday activities without making any compromises in terms of Haglöfs’ technical solutions. On the contrary, we have taken many of our most advanced materials and technical functions and applied them to products that we would use ourselves when we are not climbing mountains, skiing or running in the forest,” asserts Fredrik Lundberg, Strategic Design Manager at Haglöfs.

Haglöfs has also won an ISPO Winner Award for its marketing campaign Monochrome by Haglöfs, launched in spring 2013, Monochrome by Haglöfs was created in order to maximize the attention around the launch of Haglöfs new bike and trail running lines, found within the brand’s high-pulse concept Intense.

The prizes will be awarded at a ceremony during ISPO Munich – the leading international trade show for the sports and outdoor industry which will take place on January 26-29th, 2014.
