Hemfosa acquires community service properties in Sweden for a value of MSEK 135

Hemfosa has signed an agreement to acquire a portfolio of community service properties with an underlying property value of MSEK 135. In total, the portfolio comprises 16 properties in Sweden. The acquisition entails an expansion of Hemfosa’s portfolio in the area of healthcare and personal care properties.

Hemfosa is acquiring a property portfolio comprising 16 properties in ten locations across Sweden, including Gävle, Hässleholm, Skövde, Västerås and Gotland. The seller is Humana AB. The properties are fully leased to the care company Humana AB, which operates homes for people with special needs and residential care facilities at the properties. The properties comprise a combined total of approximately 7,000 sqm of leasable area, with an average lease of 13.6 years. The total rental value is about MSEK 9.1.

Possession of the properties has been taken, June 30, 2017.
