HIDDN: Launching first GDPR secure solution for multifunction printers
(Oslo, 5 December 2018) Hiddn Solutions ASA (Hiddn, OSE: HIDDN) has entered into a cooperation with Office Management AS to offer secure and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant encryption solutions for multifunction printers.

A multifunction printer is a device that consolidates the functionality of a printer, copier, scanner and/or fax into one machine. All documents and files being handled by a multifunctional printer are stored and saved in the internal disc drive of the multifunctional printer, typically on a 2.5inch HDD. These discs are often being replaced and can be stolen. All information and data on the disc could then potentially be compromised. This is an increasing concern for a growing number of users of multifunctional printer solutions. It is estimated to be 80 000 - 100 000 machines in field, in Norway alone.
