HIOD Sports AB – a New Company on the Sports Market
Free2move Holding AB divides its two business areas, Bluetooth modules and HIOD, into two wholly owned subsidiaries, Free2move AB and HIOD Sports AB.
The corporatisation will enhance the strengths in the two business areas to better attract venture capital to HIOD Sports AB. A process has started to capitalize HIOD Sports AB through both Swedish and international investors.
The first product from HIOD Sports AB, a communication device for cyclists called HIOD One, is available for purchase in Europe and USA. HIOD One simplifies communication between cyclists. It is the first and only sports communicator with an instant link to fellow cyclists as well as to phone calls and music. It makes it possible to freely talk in a normal speaking voice while cycling at high speed hundreds of meters apart. A HIOD App for Smart phones also turns HIOD One into a cycle computer where data like speed, distance and time is displayed on HIOD One.
