Aalto University chose HiQs FRENDS as their new integration solution. It met their requirements of the product features, maturity and performance.
“FRENDS would in our case be the “fit for purpose” solution and the right choice for us to help us to deliver Aalto's digital transformation strategy and roadmap and change process”, says Patrik Maltusch, Head of IT-Architecture at Aalto University.

FRENDS replaced an earlier integration platform solution that did not meet Aalto University’s requirements of easy usage and speed to deliver integrations.

“Our integration platform FRENDS enable a range of automations that will significantly enhance user service experiences. Process automation between systems is a huge growth area and it is playing an increasingly important role for businesses”, says Jukka Rautio, Managing Director at HiQ Finland.

HiQ was chosen as Aalto’s integration partner through a public procurement procedure in 2018.

“We have been able to implement a vast number of integrations in a brief time span. From operational point of view, tasks that use to take several months, can now be delivered within weeks. Changes in the production environment and bringing a new integration platform have streamlined integration capabilities and we can deliver even more demanding integration entities with less knowledge”, says Patrik Maltusch at Aalto University.
