HiQ SIMPLIFY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION FOR SWEDEN ACTION GAMES
HiQ is the architect behind the digital communication platform for the first Sweden Action Games. This new sporting event takes place at the Tinnerbäcksbadet Swimming Centre in Linköping, Sweden, on 30–31 May. And the digital platform is set to make things easier for participants, onlookers and the media alike.
On the last weekend in May all eyes will be on Linköping and Sweden Action Games. Alongside a host of other exciting events, the best wakeboarders in the world will have an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and Europe’s top female skateboarders will be competing for a first prize of 50,000 Swedish kronor (approx. 5,300 euros).
“Today an event of this calibre must be activated both digitally and for people to follow on mobile devices. HiQ has many years’ experience of developing digital platforms for effective communication with designated target groups, and we are proud and happy that Sweden Action Games has shown such confidence in us,” says HiQ’s Patrik Holm.
HiQ has extensive experience of working with digital communication in connection with major events. The company’s successful track record includes providing digital communication platforms for the Stena Match Cup sailing event, the European Athletics Championships and the Stockholm Pride Festival.
“We are delighted with the work that HiQ has done for us. Our ambition is to attract as many as 10,000 visitors to the two-day event, and the digital platform makes following Sweden Action Games simpler for all those involved – before, during and after the competitions,” says Niklas Hyland, one of the instigators of the games.
“We are happy to be able to make the communication around such a genuinely appealing event as Sweden Action Games so much simpler. This is yet another HiQ project that demonstrates how we are building even further on the already strong position we have created for ourselves in the digital arena,” says Lars Stugemo, President and CEO of HiQ.
