HiQ STREAMLINES ABB OY’S APPLICATION MANAGEMENT
HiQ and ABB in Finland have signed a new framework agreement in which HiQ is assigned overall responsibility for ABB’s SharePoint application management. The aim is to simplify and streamline the industrial giant’s operations.
During the past years, ABB Oy, the group’s Finnish corporation, has developed numerous business critical SharePoint applications. HiQ’s new assignment is to provide application maintenance and development services, ensuring the continuity of all current and forthcoming applications.
“Before, the application maintenance models and services have varied from one application and partner to another. By selecting one single partner to carry the responsibility we’ll be able to simplify and unify our application management significantly, thereby streamlining our processes. HiQ has both the required expertise as well as the service orientation that we are looking for,” says Jari Tuukkanen, Sourcing Manager at ABB Oy.
HiQ is a strong player in the industry segment. ABB Oy and HiQ have collaborated since 2008, a partnership that now evolves.
