Daniel Skjeldam has been appointed CEO of Hurtigruten

Daniel Skjeldam has been appointed CEO of Hurtigruten
ASA. He is presently commercial director of Norwegian
Air Shuttle ASA, where he has been employed since
2002.
Mr. Skjeldam is 36 years old and holds a Master of
Science in Business degree from Norges
Handelshøyskole where he graduated in 2001. He lives
in Oslo and will be commuting weekly to the office in
Narvik.

Daniel Skjeldam to lead Hurtigruten, going forward.
Skjeldam has played an important role in the
successful development of Norwegian, and brings most
relevant experience to Hurtigruten", says Trygve
Hegnar, Chairman of Hurtigruten non executive board
of directors.
"I look forward to be involved in the further
development of Hurtigruten, which is already a
leading player in the Norwegian travel business. I
know the company well and look forward to become more
familiar with both the product and the employees,
comments Mr. Skjeldam
Mr. Skjeldam will take on his new position 1 October
2012 at the latest.
