Bevego, the leading wholesaler and trading company in Sweden in the field of structural steel sheet, ventilation and technical insulation, has provided IBS with a renewed expression of confidence by upgrading its existing business system to the new IBS Enterprise 7. At the same time, Bevego is expanding its system solution for its planning and manufacturing process to support new business activities within the company.

Bevego’s business is based on efficient, value-creating logistics via 26 well-stocked warehouses from Malmö in the south of Sweden to Luleå in the north, and an efficient purchasing organisation based at the company head office in Alingsås. The company is part of the Saint-Gobain Group.

“We have years of positive experience with IBS and the business system they supply. As such, we consider it only natural to upgrade our current system to reap the benefits of the improvements featured in IBS Enterprise 7. The new version opens the door to more efficient logistics and a faster ordering process. In addition, it provides us with improved support for dealing with our manufacturing process,” says Peter Nilsson, IT Manager at Bevego.

“We are looking forward to continuing the working relationship and we are delighted with the expression of confidence that allows us to deliver new system solutions to Bevego. We are also pleased to have the opportunity to participate in Bevego’s development,” says Helen Hjelmhammar, Area Sales Manager, IBS Sverige.

The implementation is scheduled to go live during the first quarter of 2011.
