ICA Real Estate has signed a land allocation agreement and letter of intent on a reparceling with the City of Stockholm involving the divestment and acquisition of land in Årsta. Through the process ICA wants to ensure access to a desirable retail location in one of Stockholm’s largest housing projects. A decision will officially be made by the Stockholm County Council during spring 2013.

TheICAGroup’s net sales for the fourth quarter 2012 amounted to SEK 24,990 million (24,921) which is an increase of 0.3 percent compared to the fourth quarter 2011. At constant exchange rates, net sales increased by 0.8 percent. Adjusted for the divested ICA Maxi stores in Norway net sales increased by 3.6 percent or 4.2 percent at constant exchange rates.
