IFS solution to empower Munters staff in some 25 countries with tools to enhance productivity, cost control and customer satisfaction

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Munters, a global leader in energy efficient and sustainable air treatment and climate solutions, has chosen to deploy IFS Field Service Management™ (FSM).

Munters has been defining the future of air treatment since 1955. Using innovative technologies, the company creates the perfect climate for customers in a wide range of industries, particularly the food, pharmaceutical and data center sectors. Munters is operational across the globe, with manufacturing, sales and service carried out in more than 30 countries.

Having used IFS Applications™ as its central ERP platform for almost 20 years, Munters has opted to extend its IFS portfolio to include IFS FSM in order to grow its business with a globally scalable service solution. The main benefits to Munters include:

  • A common global system across the organization for enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Improved productivity for field service technicians
  • Better service response times
  • Improved cost control including reductions in travel and overtime costs

“We were looking to find a partner that could help us harmonize and optimize our global business processes,” said Sebastien Leichtnam, Group Vice-President, Munters Group. “On our wish list was first-class customer service and a solution that could empower our service technicians with the right information and tools. As we have a long-standing collaboration with IFS, we are confident that they can provide the best knowledge and solution to help us further increase our operational efficiency with optimal field service management and scheduling capabilities.”

IFS FSM will be rolled out to users in around 25 countries. Munters will use the entire IFS FSM solution to create a globally unified system to support customer needs across the organization.

Elni Kullmer, Head of IFS in Scandinavia, added, “We are very happy to announce that Munters is extending our long-standing partnership to include our market-leading FSM solution. We look forward to continuing our work with Munters over the years to come and to provide system support for its internal and external processes across the entire value chain and to further increase the overall efficiency of the company.”
