The developer of world-famous computer game series “The Witcher” has deployed IFS Applications

IFS, a global enterprise applications company, announces that CD PROJEKT S.A., the renowned developer of computer games, has concluded its implementation of IFS Applications™ on time and on budget.

CD PROJEKT specializes in computer game development and global distribution. The studio’s latest production, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, sold more than six million copies within the first six weeks of its launch.

Before implementing IFS Applications, CD PROJEKT was running unintegrated IT tools to support its project-oriented business. To streamline its operational processes, the company decided to replace its many separate systems with an integrated, feature-rich ERP solution from IFS.

By implementing IFS Applications, the company is equipped to ensure optimal usage of resources, enhanced data processing automation including real-time data processing as well as the ability to store increasing amounts of information and streamlined internal communications.

“We decided to implement IFS Applications as it best met our current and forecast management needs. The system allows us to rapidly scale our operational productivity and supports us in achieving our business objectives,” said Edyta Wakuła, Managing Director at CD PROJEKT S.A.

IFS CEE president Marcin Taranek added, “We are very excited to be working with CD PROJEKT, one of the leading computer game developers in the market. We are happy to see that the functionality of IFS Applications helps our client to streamline their businesses and that its flexible functionality allows for easy adaptation to the company's changing needs. We look forward to continuing our successful cooperation with CD PROJEKT.”

IFS Applications supports CD PROJEKT's management in key functional areas such as finance, distribution, project management, human resources and payroll, and B2B portals.
