IFS awarded in the two countries that are home to its largest employee hubs

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, has once again been recognized as one of the top places to work in Sweden and Sri Lanka.

Recently announced at Great Place to Work’s annual gala in Stockholm, IFS remains one of Sweden’s ten best places to work in the large organization category. Since entering Great Place to Work’s Cultural Audit in 2010, IFS has achieved a top ten spot every year.

For the third year running, the Great Place to Work Institute has selected IFS as one of the country’s 25 best companies to work for in Sri Lanka. The awards ceremony, which was held on July 8 at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, was well attended by both local and foreign representatives of the Great Place to Work Institute as well as award recipients from the best employers in Sri Lanka.

The Great Place to Work institute defines a great workplace as ‘one built on trust. Trust drives sustainable engagement and engagement drives business performance.’

Alastair Sorbie, CEO of IFS, said, “Our customers around the world continually tell us that our people are a differentiator in the market—not only because of the expertise we have in the vertical industries we serve, but also thanks to our pragmatic approach. We are proud to have established a productive culture that our employees enjoy and are able to thrive within.”

IFS attributes its continued success in the audit to the company’s inclusive culture that is founded on Scandinavian values, and its ongoing commitment to a positive work environment. IFS strives for continuous improvement and the Great Place to Work survey allows the organization to identify key improvement areas to prioritize.

Great Place to Work’s research and Best Companies recognition programs take place in 45 countries on six continents and represent over 10 million employees’ voices, forming the largest and most respected employee survey worldwide.

This accolade comes a month after IFS was recognized by The Silicon Review as one of the top ‘50 Best Companies to Watch’ in North America.
