Indutrade acquires Danish sensor manufacturer

Indutrade has signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares in Senmatic A/S, Odense, Denmark, with annual sales of approximately DKK 120 million.

Senmatic (www.senmatic.com) manufactures a wide range of standard and customised sensors for measurement of temperature and relative humidity. Customers are primarily in such sectors as marine refrigerated cargo, petrochemical, power generation and processing as well as other marine applications. Senmatic also offers climate control systems for industrial greenhouses and LED lighting systems.

Possession takes place today, and the company will be part of Indutrade’s Measurement & Sensor Technology business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade’s earnings per share.
