Infratek builds substation in Finland

Infratek, with the business area Central Infrastructure, has been awarded a contract with the Finnish national power grid company Fingrid, for turnkey delivery of a 400 kV substation at Forssa.

The substation site lies in the southern Finland, about 80 km northwest from Helsinki.

The value of the contract is approx. EUR 6.7 million and design works will commence immediately. The substation will be completed and handed over by the end of 2015. The turn-key delivery includes construction of new 400 kV outdoor switchgear, protection and auxiliary systems.

According to regulations the other tenders have the right to lodge complaints for three weeks. The contract cannot be signed prior to the expiration of this period and prior to the evaluation of any complaints.
