Hollywood Production Center announces longtime client’s 4th season production of The Killing is set to begin in February, while Mission Street Productions, makers of the new HBO series Looking, becomes newest tenant.

Press Release – Los Angeles – November 22, 2013 – Longtime tenant of Hollywood Production Center and the team behind the popular television series The Killing has announced the start of work on the 4th season with production beginning in February. Their team will continue to utilize the flexible office space of Hollywood Production Center for their continuation.

The hit police drama starring Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos first aired in 2011 and was carried by AMC for three seasons. The first three seasons generated such a following on Netflix that the on-demand streaming media company decided to fund the production of a final fourth season, consisting of six episodes, which will air exclusively for Netflix subscribers.

Mission Street Productions has been looking to rent office space in Hollywood. They chose the state-of-the-art facilities of Hollywood Production Center as their new home. The new tenant is in the process of creating a new series entitled Looking, which is due to premiere on HBO on January 19, 2014. The thirty minute comedy-drama is based in San Francisco and follows the lives of several gay men who are in search of love and good times.

The Hollywood office space will be used by Looking’s creative team. The premium network’s new show was created by Michael Lannen, who is set to also executive produce, directed by Andrew Haigh and executive produced by Sarah Condon. The eight-episode series was filmed in San Francisco back in the fall and stars Murray Bartlett, Frankie J. Alvarez and Jonathan Groff as the three best friends featured in the series.

Hollywood Production Center draws both established entertainment clients as well as companies seeking to make a strong initial impact in the industry due to its high quality office space for rent in Hollywood and Glendale. Four locations offer immediate month-to-month and long-term occupancy into executive offices and facilities for production, post-production and more. The creative space and atmosphere, as well as choice filming locations, office sets, world class amenities and great customer service are perfect for those in the entertainment business and those in the professional community to settle, produce and excel.

Besides offering excellent work facilities, each Hollywood Production Center also provides clients with recreation areas such as a patio, rooftop, courtyard and more. On-site gyms offer showers, personal trainers, masseuses and yoga instructors. Large parking areas, valet parking and 24-hour security surveillance are also part of the Hollywood Production Center experience.

With executive furnished office space for rent, Hollywood provides a wealth of opportunities for big name entertainment companies and small upstarts to produce hit movies, television shows and new media through the state-of-the-art facilities at Hollywood Production Center. The makers of The Killing, as well as new arrival Mission Street Productions, with their Looking series, are fine examples of these types of entertainment companies that are redefining the industry.
