ipostparcels.com have reduced the price of their Saturday delivery option so recipients are able to benefit more so from first time delivery as they are more likely to be available on Saturday.

ipostparcels.com, UK Mail’s online consumer parcel delivery service, has made significant changes to parts of their service to help improve first time delivery through reducing prices on their Saturday delivery option, in addition to the price cuts made last month.

After conducting a customer survey back in February ipostparcels.com received feedback from their customers stating that recipients like to receive parcels when they are home at the weekend. The added extra option of Saturday delivery was a premium extra which customers could choose at an extra cost. From receiving the feedback from their customers, ipostparcels.com have now made Saturday delivery more accessible by slashing prices from £5 to £3 in order to improve first time delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

To increase value for money for customers, ipostparcels.com has also increased the discount customers receive when they drop their parcel off at a local depot by 25%. As ipostparcels.com are part of the UK Mail network with over 50 depots based around the UK, ipostparcels.com customers are able to take advantage of this offering and drop their parcels off at a depot near them to receive additional discounts on their parcel delivery. Previously, customers received £1 off every parcel they dropped off at a depot, whereas now customers will receive up to £1.25 off each parcel they drop off at a UK Mail depot.

Guy Buswell, CEO Of UK Mail Group said, “We are continually looking at ways we can develop our brand further and feedback from our customers is key to this. We’ve taken on board the convenience of Saturday delivery and improved it further by reducing the price. At ipostparcels.com, unlike our competitors, we’re able to take advantage of the fact we use our own network for collection and delivery. The 25% increase in drop at depot discount offers those customers living close to one of our 55 depots the opportunity to save money and get urgent parcels sent the same day rather than wait until the following day when collected.”
