New features of the IVU.suite and optimisation – novelty IVU.pad

Berlin, 14 July 2016 – All data in a single system, from the server to the tablet; that is something transport companies can only get with the IVU.suite. The integrated standard solution from IVU Traffic Technologies AG for fully digital work flows will be on display at the InnoTrans trade fair at booth 404 in hall 2.1. Visitors will also be able to experience the performance of the IVU optimisation, try out the new IVU.pad for mobile personnel and chat to IVU project managers about current introduction projects at bus and railway companies.

IVU.suite – the entirely digital work flow
The IVU.suite makes complex tasks simple – from planning and dispatching to operational control, ticketing and passenger information, all the way to final controlling. The modular, fully integrated system of software and hardware covers all the requirements of a transport operator or association. Including mobile use: The IVU.fleet.app allows dispatchers to have their fleet under control at all times, even while they are travelling, IVU.cockpit assists drivers on their route, and the IVU.realtime.app provides real-time information to passengers. With its standard system, IVU is thus helping its users to handle all their tasks in an optimum way and to set up a cost-effective homogeneous system environment that can be implemented quickly. The result is a fully digital work flow and standardised data storage from the first planning step through to settlement with the client.

Optimisation – deploying all resources efficiently
IVU has further improved its leading optimisation algorithms. They allow transport companies to deploy personnel and vehicles in a considerably more efficient and more cost-effective way than before. The system now models the features of rail traffic in particular in more detail. Numerous automation functions assist planners and dispatchers in the creation of optimum and requirements-oriented duty schedules, vehicle schedules and operating schedules. The easily configurable rule editor helps to create optimisation parameters in a flexible way that matches the respective operational requirements.

IVU.pad – the digital workplace
The 2016 innovation from IVU: the IVU.pad for mobile use. The innovative solution digitalises the workplaces of the drivers and all mobile employees. It displays current personalised messages on upcoming journeys and vehicles and provides easy access to all important documents. Employees can use the IVU.pad to enter working hours, submit holiday requests and view current messages from dispatchers. All communication is digital, which accelerates processes and ensures efficiency.

IVU will also be celebrating its anniversary at InnoTrans. 40 years after it was founded in 1976, the company can look back on hundreds of successful projects and long-standing close relationships with its customers. Today, IVU is an important partner for bus and railway companies and provides innovative ideas for future mobility.
