Manchester Production Company Lion Eyes TV has helped create a brand-new show for BBC Music, starring Elbow frontman Guy Garvey.

The award-winning company provided full post-production services for all six episodes of Music Box with Guy Garvey at their dedicated city centre facility, The Den.

Their work included creating a unique look for the programme and presenting archive footage in interesting ways.

Martin Riley, Director at Lion Eyes TV, said: “We were able to create pleasing ways of presenting music archive stills and footage by using motion tracking, animation and comping. The Den’s Steve Clarkson could take interesting camera moves across objects like an old TV set, a tablet computer and a jukebox and make the archive and stills play within them.

“It all adds to the visual tone of a series about music past, present and future.”

Each episode of Music Box features exclusive and unseen footage, from musical performances to brand-new videos as well as backstage interviews with Guy’s chosen artists. The series starts on BBC iPlayer from 23rd July.
