Projects in Texas, North Dakota and Wyoming establish company’s growing prominence, reach

Green Group Holdings, LLC, a leading development company specializing in large-scale infrastructure development and environmental permitting and operations, has three new environmental development projects in process in North Dakota, Texas and Wyoming. The new projects include multi-million dollar investments in local communities and development of critical infrastructure to support traditional landfill and oil and natural gas exploration and production landfills.

“Green Group Holdings continues to expand our presence across the United States, providing innovative project designs, environmental permitting, and recycling and waste facilities operations,” said Ernest Kaufmann, president of Green Group Holdings, LLC. “We are a company that works closely with local communities to develop safe, efficient and effective solutions to infrastructure needs while generating local revenue and creating direct and indirect jobs in the areas we operate.”

The three new projects include: Black Mallard Disposal (North Dakota), 130 Environmental Park (Texas) and Grasslands Environmental (Wyoming).

The 130 Environmental Park, located in Caldwell County, Texas will be a mixed-use development project that will include a municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill, a facility for processing recyclable materials, and an industrial park. The 130 Environmental Park has filed Parts I and II of its landfill permit application with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Black Mallard Disposal will be located in Alger Township, Mountrail County, North Dakota. Green Group Holdings has submitted a pre-application to the North Dakota Department of Health for this project that will include an oil and natural gas exploration and production landfill. The 240-acre site will accept gas and oil exploration and production waste, petroleum contaminated soils, and other exploration wastes.

The Wyoming project will be located on 570 acres in Converse County, Wyoming and will include an oil and natural gas exploration and production landfill, a commercial oilfield waste water disposal facility (COWDF), a non-potable water supply well, and a Class I injection well. The company expects this Wyoming facility to become operational in phases over the course of 2014, beginning with the commercial oilfield waste water disposal facility next spring.

In addition to these three new projects, Green Group Holdings owns and operates facilities at Arrowhead Landfill in Uniontown, AL, and has operating contracts for Mesa County Landfill in Grand Junction, CO; Brooks Construction and Demolition Landfill in Wichita, KS; Northeastern New Mexico Regional Landfill in Wagon Mound, NM; and Layon Landfill in Inarajan, Guam.
