Kemira increases prices for inorganic coagulants in North America

Report this content

Kemira, a global chemicals company serving customers in water intensive industries, is announcing price increases on inorganic coagulants, including iron chlorides, iron sulfates and aluminum-based coagulants, in all market segments in the North America, effective immediately or as contract terms allow.

The price increase is necessitated by continued tightening in supply and cost increases in critical raw materials. The increase will range from 5 - 20%, depending on product type and region.

While Kemira will continue to do what is needed to minimize the impact of escalating raw materials costs, it is necessary to implement price increases now so that we can minimize the impact and continue to invest in our operations to supply our valued customers with quality coagulant products and advanced water solutions, vital to their water & wastewater treatment operations.
