AEMB General Assembly meets in Cumbria

Representatives of livestock markets from all over Europe are gathering inCumbriathis weekend for the 2012 General Assembly of the European Association of Livestock Markets (AEMB).

The assembly takes place at the Low Wood Bay Hotel, in Windermere, and includes a visit to Cockermouth Market on Friday 17th of May, followed by a visit to Whinfell Park Farm, Penrith.

On Saturday 19th the AEMB is holding its Board Meeting and AGM, which will be followed by the AEMB Conference. Main topics on the conference agenda will include CAP reform, market waste water and air cleaning technology, and throughput development in 2011 and perspective for 2012.

Delegates will be attending from Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
