Traffic Statistics September 2012

CPH: Solid growth in international traffic continues

More than 2.1 million passengers travelled through Copenhagen Airport in
September, which was a new monthly record. The growth drivers continue to be
international and transfer traffic. The year-to-date increase in passenger
numbers is 3.1%.

The number of international passengers at Copenhagen Airport rose by 3.7% in
September, and the year-to-date rate of increase on international services was
5.8%. This corresponds to some 900,000 passengers – or about 96% of the total
growth in international traffic at Danish airports.

"We have expanded our share of international traffic, which means that more and
more passengers whose trip originates in Denmark, the Nordic region or the
Baltic states choose to travel via Copenhagen Airport en route to other
destinations. The increase was partly attributable to our many new route
options and the short transfer time we offer. This makes the entire northern
European region even more accessible," said Carsten Nørland, VP, Sales and
Marketing for Copenhagen Airport.

Aggregate passenger numbers at Copenhagen Airport rose by 1.0%. Transfer
traffic rose by 6.6%, while domestic traffic was 22.2% lower than last year
owing to the bankruptcy of Cimber Sterling. Year to date, 17,849,268 passengers
have travelled through Copenhagen Airport, which represents a 3.1% increase. In
terms of traffic growth, Copenhagen Airport continues to be one of the top
performers among European hubs, and this improvement represents the creation of
more than 1,000 new jobs.
