One of the world's leading glass designers Mr. Bertil Vallien will attend the Ambiente exhibition in Frankfurt, 13th -15th of February
"with a brand new art glass exhibition for Kosta Boda, "an Armada of Glass".
Bertil Vallien is one of the world's most renowned glass artists and glass designers, numerous awards, and is well represented in prominent museums worldwide*. Bertil Vallien will launch new art glass for Kosta Boda during Ambiente. He works in a mythical, dream-like world of symbolic imagery and undertakes what he himself describes as research and development. Bertil is primarily known as a master of sand molding. His solid, deep blue colored glass boats are part of modern glass history.
-Bertil Vallien’s glass exhibition at Ambiente represents an exceptional type of design that is characterized by the presence in time and with a gripping prestigious exterior. The new exhibition has taken nearly a year to complete and most of the major glass art objects have spent months in specially designed ovens to slowly cool down.
