Orange County’s Oldest Hospital System Announces Brand New Names

(Santa Ana, CA)-Today, KPC Health announced the rebranding of four Orange County hospitals, including one of the county’s oldest hospitals, Western Medical Center Santa Ana, which is one of only two Level Two Trauma centers serving Orange County’s 3.5 million residents. The four new Orange County hospital names are as follows:

      Orange County Global Medical Center

Formerly Western Medical Center Santa Ana

      Anaheim Global Medical Center

      Formerly Western Medical Center Anaheim

      Chapman Global Medical Center

      Formerly Chapman Medical Center

      South Coast Global Medical Center

      Formerly Coastal Communities Hospital

The foundational principles of the hospital system are based on a long-standing tradition of serving people and their families throughout the hospitals' surrounding communities. As these four acute care hospitals begin their new chapter in Orange County, they remain committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare that offers top-level specialty services from physicians, nurses and staff who have decades of experience and excellence in healthcare.

“Our four Orange County hospitals are continuing to build a network that offers our patients an integrated, full-service healthcare system,” said KPC Health CEO Suzanne Richards. “From our family to yours, we look forward to providing you with the very best healthcare."
