This season, Emmy nominated costume designer Dan Lawson joins Lafayette 148 New York as Brand Ambassador in honor of their 20th Anniversary. Lawson will host exclusive fashion presentations and key events around the country that highlight the versatility of the new Fall 2016 Collection.

“There are so many reasons I love working with Lafayette 148 New York. The styling is consistently chic and elegant. Even the more casual clothing has a chic aura about it. My actresses always feel great wearing the collection,” says Lawson who has been using Lafayette 148 designs on CBS’s critically acclaimed drama series “The Good Wife” starring Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski and Chris Noth, and is often cited as one of the “best dressed shows on TV.” Lawson is also the winner of the 2016 ACE Style Influencer Award, and is now working on “BrainDead,” CBS’s new American comedy series.

During events, guests will enjoy informal fashion presentations as Lawson will be providing commentary on the collection and ways to style each piece. It will also afford guests the chance to receive fashion advice and shopping recommendations from Lawson who believes that women should feel empowered and confident by their wardrobe.

“Lafayette 148 New York's clothing is versatile and enables me to mix pieces that are not necessarily meant to go together, but still do – even pieces from different collections and different seasons,” says Lawson. “Furthermore, I find that Lafayette 148 New York's clothes are designed and cut for a real woman's body. You know, I can have one character who is 30, and another who’s 55 and it works.”

Lawson can also be seen in a new digital component on Lafayette148ny.com/20years in a new film, all part of an exclusive video series celebrating the brand’s 20th anniversary this year. He will also be celebrated during an exclusive event at Lafayette 148 New York’s new Soho store at 423 Broome Street early this month.
