On Saturday 13thJune 2015, endurance runners will gather on Wimbledon Common to take part in the annual 12-hour endurance race, The London Enduro

The event, taking place on Wimbledon Common, will see participants take part in either the 50km or an overnight 12-hour option.

Richard Xerri, Founder and Director at Perseverance Events says: “The London Enduro is now in its second year and is proving to be a popular event in the endurance running calendar. It’s definitely not for the faint-hearted and there’s the added challenge of it being a night event!

The 10km loop covers an undulating off-road traffic course. The 12-hour race will see either solo runners or teams of either two, three to four or five to six people taking part and these teams must run as a relay. Free parking, free camping and food all night is provided for all runners.

“We wanted to provide London with a 12-hour endurance event meaning that runners didn’t have to travel miles to take part in the event. We have some great parks and open spaces in London that provide challenging off-road courses and we hope this event hopes attracts the both seasoned endurance runners as well as beginners who are looking for their next challenge!” says Richard Xerri, Founder and Director at Perseverance Events.

The London Enduro event will begin at 7pm as part of the Summer Breeze Running Festival taking place on Wimbledon Common during the afternoon of the 13th June 2015.
