Results of air quality measurement analyses

Liepaja, Latvija, 2012-08-29 12:46 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 27.08.2012 JSC
“Liepajas metalurgs” received the results of air quality measurement analyses
made by the Latvian Environment and Meteorology Centre Laboratory. Today,
29.08.2012 the same will be submitted to Latvian Regional Environment Authority
and sent to the German company “FUCHS Technology AG”, which is the supplier of
the equipment installed in the EAF steelmaking melt shop. 

At present the JSC “Liepajas metalurgs” together with all the parties concerned
with solving the issues are involved in coordination and concerting the
measures to eliminate the side effects of the electric arc furnace operation. 

The solving of the mentioned issues will not affect on the financial situation
of JSC "Liepajas metalurgs".
