LINK Mobility Group ASA (LINK) confirms its strategy, and reports solid revenue growth in the third quarter of 2016 across all main markets in a traditionally low season. In addition to delivering solid organic growth, LINK closed the acquisitions of Linus, Whatever Mobile Group and Labyrintti Group the 30th of September.

The strong revenue growth in the quarter, confirms the positive underlying trend of solid growth in the market for mobile messaging and mobile solutions delivered by LINK. New mobile solutions like Mobil Invoice have had a very good response in the marketplace, indicating a solid growth potential going forward.

LINK is reporting a pro forma revenue including acquired businesses for the third quarter of NOK 221,5 million, and an accumulated pro forma revenue of NOK 667,5 million. The adjusted pro forma EBITDA for the third quarter is NOK 23,4 million (10,6 per cent), with an accumulated adjusted pro forma EBITDA of NOK 80,4 million (12,0 per cent). LINK delivered 606 million messages in the quarter, and 1.783 million messages year to date (pro forma figures).

LINK also experienced a solid organic growth excluding the recent acquisitions. LINK achieved record operating revenues of NOK 130,2 million in the third quarter, up 44% per cent compared with corresponding period last year. The overall market conditions have been favorable in all markets, resulting in all-time high messaging volume of 421 million, and an all-time high monthly messaging volume in September of 165 million. The adjusted EBITDA was recorded at NOK 10,4 million in the third quarter, down NOK 2,5 million compared with the corresponding period last year. The fall in the adjusted EBITDA margin (-6,2 per cent age points) compared with the same period last year, is due to lower margins on high volume international customers, increased termination cost in the Danish market due to deregulation of the interconnect rates between the Danish mobile operators, and investment in group structures to prepare for further profitable growth.

“LINK is now the leading mobile messaging and solutions provider in the Nordic, Baltics and German market. Our strong organic growth continues at a stellar 35% QonQ. Our footprint expansion combined with the strong market growth puts us in a unique position to leverage our innovative solutions in all our markets and capture our fair share of the forecast growth going forward. We have taken our first steps into consolidating the European market, and look forward to continue our rapid expansion going forward” says LINK´s CEO Arild Hustad.
