Hercules Adds Outdoor BTP04 Speaker to its Wireless Audio Experience Range
New Outdoor BTP04 from Hercules is IP64-certified and has been specially created for sports fans and adventure lovers.
New York, May 23, 2013 – Because outdoor sports and adventures are even more fun with a soundtrack to great music, Hercules created the WAE Outdoor BTP04, the latest addition to its WAE – Wireless Audio Experience range. With its adrenaline-pumping properties, music can often be a catalyst driving high intensity athletes to the next level. The new Outdoor BTP04 allows listeners to stream all of their favorite music anywhere from their smartphone or tablet, taking any outdoor activity to new heights.
Created specially for sports fans and adventure lovers, the new IP64-certified speaker equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology provides total protection against water splashes, snow, dust and sand. Its rubber end pieces and double protective grille ensure enhanced impact resistance. It's perfect for amateur or pro skiers and snowboarders, surfers, kite boarders, BMX riders, mountain bikers, hikers, parkour fans and more!
At just over nine ounces and six inches wide, it's the perfect companion for all sports activities – whether in the street, at the beach or out on the slopes. Despite its small size, it delivers accurate sound quality, with more than 14 hours of listening time and a range of more than 33 feet (performance may vary depending on the audio source and your surroundings).

The Outdoor BTP04 is available for preorder now on Amazon.com and will begin shipping in June 2013, at a suggested retail price of $129.99 (taxes included). The Adventure Pack will be available from late June, at a suggested retail price of $179.99 (taxes included).
WAE App for iOS and Android
Hercules also developed the “WAE Remote” – an extremely easy-to-use app that’s compatible with both iOS (4.0 and higher) and Android™ (2.2 and higher), providing listeners with another very convenient way to use the speaker.
The WAE App helps manage Hercules speakers equipped with Bluetooth technology, and turns users’ wireless music experience into a simple moment of pleasure. Intuitive, user-friendly and rich with ingenious features, the application is compatible with iOS (4.0 and above) and Android (2.2 and above).
