Until now the company has only used equity capital for investments but portfolio company revenues have during the last period grown to a level where Cleantech Invest now sees it fit to raise its first debt capital, via a credit line of 1MEUR from Nordea Bank.

In the strategy update published earlier this year Cleantech Invest stated that the company is continuously evaluating possibilities for additional value creation through internal corporate restructuring such as demergers and return of capital, as well as balance sheet restucturing.

CEO Alexander Lidgren:

”Since Cleantech Invest IPO in 2014 the share has shown over 50% return per annum to investors. We have an ambition to continue on a high growth track, and are continuously evaluating new ways to increase shareholder value. As our portfolio companies mature and holdings become more liquid new possibilities emerge and we will pursue them when suitable.”
